I started dabbling in yoga in college but it wasn’t until I got an office job after graduation that I realized how much yoga could change your life. I was pretty miserable and felt awful sitting at a desk all day. I would get pains in my neck from sitting at the computer and my only relief was going to yoga on Tuesday lunch hour at Equinox in Darien with Peggy Lyons-Bradley. I soon started going more often and tried some classes at Saraswati’s when I realized that I wanted to become an instructor. I felt great, not only physically, but mentally. Yoga makes me feel like a calmer, more sane person! And those pains in my neck are completely gone. I love making people feel good and watching my students accomplish things in their practices and in their lives!
